About

I am a strategic advisor and entrepreneur with 25 years experience in IP, commercial partnerships, product development, and 360º stakeholder management. I am an expert in building stakeholder ecosystems for disruptive technology products.

I have direct experience in big tech, startups, regulated industries and nonprofits in AI, media & entertainment, consumer tech, mobile, accounting and fintech, research and policy, commercial law, and global health.

Career

After reading History at Leeds University (1994-7) I trained as a lawyer at the University of Law (1998-2000) and qualified at A&O Sherman (2000-05), joining their communications, media & technology team working on international deals.

I moved to Symbian (2005-07) as Legal Counsel, negotiating Symbian OS licences and expanding software distribution with semiconductor reference designs.

I was headhunted into Google's legal team (2007-09) as UK Counsel, advising on UK policy, global product launches and commercial deals.

I transferred to Google's Android team (2009-15) to lead business development and strategic partnerships for EMEA, including 2 years specifically focusing on establishing Android in Africa.

I co-founded Peek Vision (2015-18), an eye health technology spin-out from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Here I created partnerships with INGOs, ministries of health, researchers and academic institutions, government and industry funders, and private healthcare organisations to deliver eye care services at population scale in low income settings.

I also began consulting (2015-present) and mediating (2022-present), and along the way led partnerships at Silverfin (2020-22) to convert a SaaS  accounting product into an international platform, and responsible AI at Flawless (2023-25) to build IP management and consent control tools for AI in Hollywood.

I also work on the boards of HotelMap (2018-present), Identidades do Brasil (2017-present), and East London Dance (2024-present) helping them navigate growth, complexity, and innovation.
